1916 Receiving the Irish flag and copy of the Proclamation
On Monday 19th October two members of the Irish defence forces visited our school. They presented us with a new Irish flag which will be raised on Proclamation Day on 15th March 2016. We also received a copy of the Proclamation. Everybody was very excited and we learned lots about the flag and what it represents. At the end of the ceremony we sang our National Anthem.
